like a switch watch, in keeping with its main sponsor, hublot, one of the most consolidated regattas on the Spanish calendar since 2004 returns punctually to the bay of palma. The 2008 regatta, due to be held from 16 th to 20 th April, promises four days of sport, sun, a good atmosphère and spectacle in the village, with a host of guests having a great time in the facilities of palma's real club nautico.
Hublot palmavela's main objective is to bring sailing closer to the public in general. This year, after the success of previous regattas, over 200 vessels will be taking part, classified into the following categories, Maxis, Box rules, one designs, RN, ORC internationa, IRC, vintage and classics, lateen sail, yachting industry class, and disabled sailing.
For five years now, as well as promoting sailing and the participation of the projection of the image of the city, of Mallorca and of the Balearics in important tourism markets. Without doubt, the latter see these few days as an unbeatable opportunity to enjoy their passion in a priviliged setting under the mediterranean sun.
